Consultant Manish Prasai presented the final report, which detailed a comprehensive review of the Safe Motherhood and Reproductive Health Rights Act 2018. This review incorporated feedback gathered through phase-by-phase consultations with parliamentarians, legal practitioners, and rights activists, focusing particularly on the accessibility of services for women with disabilities.

During the program, Bina Jaisawal, MP and member of the Committee on Education, Health, and Information Technology, expressed her commitment to discuss the report’s findings with her committee. Her involvement signals a promising step towards integrating the recommendations from the review into legislative discussions and potentially advancing improvements in safe motherhood and reproductive health services for women with disabilities.
