CBM Global Nepal conducts Safeguarding training for NDWA staff and Executive board

CBM Global Nepal successfully conducted safeguarding training on July 4, 2025 at Pension Vasana, Kathmandu. NDWA central staff, Bagmati Province staff and Executive Board members participated in the training.

The training was led by Ms. Kripa Maharjan from CBM Global, Nepal. Ms. Maharjan is also the safeguarding focal person at CBM Global Nepal.

The participants and trainers were welcomed by NDWA Chairperson Ms. Mina Paudel where she also shared about the importance of safeguarding in an organization.

Participants were equipped with skills to recognize, report and response to different safeguarding issues along with CBM Global safeguarding policy and commitments. The training was conducted through interactive participatory methods using PowerPoint presentations and the sessions were enriched through group discussions.

The event concluded with closing remarks from General Secretary Ms. Devi Parajuli.
