On the occasion of the 16-day of activities against gender-based violence, a march against gender-based violence was organized under the leadership of Nepal Disabled Women’s Association and other OPDs. The march, which started from Bhrikuti Mandap in the morning, passed through Exhibition Road, Putalisadak, Bag Bazaar, Ratna Park and then reached Bhrikuti Mandap before turning into a program.

The participants of the march raised slogans against gender-based violence and equal participation of women in politics. More than 150 people, including representatives of organizations working on the rights of women with disabilities, gender and minority communities, participated in the march.

The march was coordinated by Nepal Disabled Women’s Association, Down Syndrome Society Nepal, Access Planet, National Disabled Women’s Society Nepal, Blind Rock and Prayetna Nepal. video Link
