Training on ‘National and International Laws and Policies’ for female activists

NDWA organized three days training on ‘National and International laws and policies in related with Person/Women with disabilities from 10th -12th November, 2016. The main objective of the training is to make activists aware about the national and international laws and policies and make more capable to raise and advocate the issues of Women with Disabilities and to develop facilitation skill of WWDs.

NDWA accomplished three days training on ‘National and International laws and policies in related with Person/Women with disabilities from 10th -12th November, 2016. The main objective of the training is to make aware to WWDs (Campaigners and Activists) about the national and international laws and policies and make more capable to raise and advocate the issues of Women with Disabilities and to develop facilitation skill of WWDs.

The trainings had been divided in different sessions: introduction session, expectation collection, pre evaluation session, training execution, planning session and post evaluation. Ms. Nirmala Dhital, Chair Person of NDWA, Ms. Meena Paudel, General Secretary of NDWA, Ms. Laxmi Neupane, Program Coordinator were the Facilitators of the trainings. Senior Advocate Ms. Meera Dhungana and the Representative from Minister of Women Children and Social Welfare, Mr. Minraj Bhattarai and Ms. Tika Dahal, Senior Adviser of NDWA and Vice Chair of NFDN were the Guest Facilitators of the trainings.

Ms. Meena Paudel welcomed to the participants and highlighted the objectives of the trainings. Ms. Nirmala Dhital delivered the presidential speech in the beginning of the trainingd. Ms. Meena Paudel facilitated the introduction session and Ms. Laxmi Neupane facilitated the expectation collection, pre evaluation, post evaluation and planning sessions. Ms. Dhital, Ms. Neupane, Advocate Ms. Dhungana, Ms. Dahal and Gov. Officer Mr. Bhattarai delivered the training sessions on different themes.

The WWDs Campaigners and activists made aware about the National and International laws and policies in related with person/women with disabilities and made more capable to raise and advocate the issues of Women with Disabilities and enhanced the facilitation skill of WWDs.
