Nepal Disabled Women Association (NDWA) organized a one-day orientation for service providers in Lalitpur on June 6, 2023. This orientation has been organized to sensitize the members of Nepal Police Women’s Cell and Municipal Judicial Committee on violence against women and girls with disabilities.

The participants in the orientation said that the data of the person with disabilities will be collected from the ward level and according to their status, they will arrange for income generation training.

They said that we wanted to help person with disabilities but could not help them due to physical infrastructures.

17 participants including judicial committee members of Lalitpur’s Godavari Municipality and Mahalakshmi municipality and police personnel working in Women’s Cell participated in the orientation.
