Feminist Capacity Building Training for Women with Disabilities

Nepal Disabled Women Association NDWA organized a 3-day feminist from the 3rd to  5th January 2024,  capacity-building training for women with disabilities in Kathmandu.

The training was organized in collaboration with CBM Global.   Gorkha, Dhading, Chitwan, Kavre, and Kathmandu, 25 people participated in the training, including representatives of various organizations active in the field of disability movement.

Sanjog Thakuri, the main facilitator of the training informed about Conceptual clarity about feminism through discussion and interaction. As well as issues of equality and equality, patriarchy, intersectionality, history of feminism were also discussed in the training.

Right activist Pranika Koyu gave information about the feminist movement and its impact in Nepal and Sarita KC activist from LGBTIQ community shared about the sexual and gender minorities, the diversity within it, and the patriarchy within it. The training was conducted through participatory and group work methods including individual work.
